In a big move to amp up the vaccination efforts, today the White House announced that major retailers across America, including Florida, will begin administering the vaccine soon, getting doses directly from the federal government.

Then, you’ve probably seen that Disney World currently requires all guests ages 2 and up to wear an appropriate face covering. With distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine now underway for some groups, Disney has updated their mask policy and we’re sharing all the details here with you.

And while Disneyland and some of Disney’s other theme parks around the world are currently closed, Disney World and other Disney theme parks are currently open. Taking all of this into account and with news of vaccines already starting to be distributed in the United States, one analyst has upgraded his rating of Disney’s stock.
Last year, the pandemic caused the closure of every Disney park in the world. And some parks are still closed.

Although Disney World reopened last summer, the park is currently operating at limited capacity (which was recently raised from 25 to 35 percent), with new health and safety guidelines that include temperature checks upon entry into the park and a mask requirement for all guests over the age of two.
With the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine finally being distributed, vaccines are top of mind. While the arrival of a vaccine to fight the global pandemic could certainly be the first sign that “normalcy” will return, it may not be the whole “cure” that Disney World needs.
Magic Kingdom
Having a vaccine isn’t like flipping a light switch and the world goes back to normal — the same can be said for Disney World too. When it comes down to it, it may take years before consumer confidence and expendable income are back to where they were in 2019, and that can alter when we could once again see “pre-pandemic” Disney World.
Disneyland Resort is currently serving as Orange County, California’s first mass vaccination site.

The property is one of five Super Point-of-Dispensing sites in California. While the theme park is mostly closed, Disney has opened the Toy Story parking lot to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine. Medical tents have been installed and the site has opened for vaccine administration.
