November 8th will be a big day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! It’s the day Flurry of Fun, the park’s seasonal event, kicks off for the holidays. And if you’re driving to Hollywood Studios to celebrate the season, there’s another change taking place that day you’ll want to be aware of.

There’s always something new happening at Walt Disney World‘s Magic Kingdom! Even though we were last in the park less than a week ago, there was still plenty of newness for us to discover.

Blueberry Almond Popcorn made its debut when Pandora, The World of Avatar opened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and it was exclusive to that park for nearly two years. Now, though, this fun flavor has joined the Main Street Popcorn Company lineup.
If you love the little Orange Bird from Sunshine Tree Terrace (and who doesn’t?!), then you might be after the new Orange Bird Funko Variant Figure to add to your collection.

A BIG party will be taking place around the world when Mickey Mouse celebrates his 90th birthday on November 18, 2018! The party will be so big, in fact, that it will span into next year. And Mickey and Minnie will be wearing fancy new duds for the occasion. Take a look!

In Walt Disney World, guests will see Mickey’s new colorful confetti celebration outfit and Minnie’s pom-pom dress in the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” which kicks off on January 18, 2019, where the scene will also be set with new limited-time entertainment, merchandise, and food and drink offerings for Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration in Magic Kingdom. As you might imagine, Coral Reef is located in the Seas Pavilion, home of The Seas with Nemo and Friends. It’s one of only two table service restaurants in Future World — the other being Garden Grill in the neighboring Land Pavilion. The biggest draw to Coral Reef is the centerpiece of the restaurant: the six-million-gallon aquarium where fish, sea turtles, and (sometimes) divers swim by throughout the meal.
But even with that draw — making Coral Reef a truly unique Disney World experience! — Coral Reef often sinks to the bottom of DFB’s rankings of table service restaurants. Sadly the food just hasn’t been that great over the years. Lunch in 2014 was decent at best, with the Seared Mahi Mahi being the only I’d-get-that-again dish (alas, the Sriracha Shrimp we enjoyed on that visit are no longer on the menu…).
But you know we like to re-review restaurants on the regular, since chefs, menus, and servers change up regularly. My most recent visit was the best I’ve had in terms of food, and while it won’t move Coral Reef up to the top of the list at Epcot — admittedly a difficult park because there are so many awesome choices — it gives me hope that maybe the restaurant is providing a better experience for guests.

The atmosphere of Coral Reef is the star of this restaurant, and for those who love sea life or aquariums, this really is a must-try. Nothing quite compares to the beauty of dining with only eight inches of glass between the diner and the sealife.

2018 marks the 25th Anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Disney is definitely delivering when it comes to fun accessories to mark the occasion. Harvey’s Nightmare Before Christmas Lock, Shock & Barrel Streamline Tote
The 25th Anniversary Nightmare Before Christmas Harvey’s collection features a few of the movie’s most beloved characters, including the Mayor and Lock, Shock & Barrel. Harveys bags are made from seatbelt fabric, making them unique looking and sturdy. We spotted the collection in the Main Street Emporium at Magic Kingdom, but it’s also available throughout Walt Disney World and Disney Parks.

First up: the Halloween Gingerbread Man from Disneyland’s French Market. Picture a fluffy Gingerbread Man cookie… but dressed for Halloween. Catrina says he’s super soft and so delicious. We’ve also heard that he’s sold once in a while at the cart by Haunted Mansion. You can choose from green or orange icing.
