We here at DFB are no strangers to food hacks in the parks!
We’ve shared the delicious Churro Sundae, Mickey Ear Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich, and even the Blue and Green Milk Parfait creations that we’ve discovered so you can treat yo’self too! And, we’re back in Batuu to give you a li’l peak at our latest Disneyland food hack (warning: your mouth might start watering).
Kat Saka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge just debuted the most LIFE-CHANGING chocolate popcorn EVER. It’s seriously incredible and you have to eat it ASAP.
BUT.
We just made it even better!
The AH-MAZING result of our poppin’ idea was the… drum roll please… Cheesy Chocolate Caramel Popcorn!!! Yeah, it tastes just as good as it sounds! And, it’s an extremely simple hack that’s easy breezy to get.
Step 1: Popcorn Carts
When you first enter Disneyland, you’ll want to stop at one of the multiple quick-stop popcorn carts to pick up the Caramel and Cheese Popcorn.
A super sweet/salty hack all on it’s own. BUT THEN…
Step 2: Kat Saka’s Kettle
Now that you’ve got your first few flavaahhs, the finishing touch on this tasty snack is over in Batuu. Time to pick up some of that amazing Chocolate Popcorn over at Kat Saka’s that reminded us of cocoa puffs in the best way possible. After you pick up the sweet popcorn bag for $6.49 (actually, get two; one to eat now, and one for the hack), you’re ready for the third and final step.
Step 3: Get Mixin’!
Look at all that caramel, chocolate, and cheese goodness!!
The trifecta of flavors was seriously satisfying. Every bite had a burst of sweetness from the caramel and chocolate, saltiness from the popcorn, and cheesiness from that incredible cheddar dusting.
The snack combo fills an entire R2-D2 bowl, so it’s perfect for movie night or game time (or those Halloween and Holiday parties we know you’re plannin’!). And guess what…ain’t NOBODY gonna have THIS amazingness at their party except YOU! (It’s OK. You can take credit for it.)
This might just be our new go-to snack the next time we’re in Disneyland, you guys.

Sounds delicious and should be called “Chicago Mix with Chocolate”
Where do we get the R2D2 bowl???
Annette, Heather got the bowl in Droid Depot at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge.
I wonder if these yummy popcorn flavors are gluten free??
Ellen, I don’t believe they’re marked gluten free, so there may be a chance of cross contamination. You’ll want to double check with cast members to see if they have that information.
