It’s almost time for the “Year of the Mouse!” (Well, technically Year of the Rat, but close enough!)
We’re super excited for this year’s Lunar New Year festival, which starts up at Disney California Adventure THIS FRIDAY! We’ve been counting down by admiring the super cool merchandise that’s being released, as well as the tasty-looking festival marketplace menus (eek!). Now, we have another piece of news to hold us over until January 17th — the Lunar New Year booths and decorations are up in the park!
First up, we spotted this adorable signage featuring Mickey and Minnie in their best New Year outfits! Good fortune to you, Minnie, this is YOUR YEAR!
Our jaws totally dropped when we saw this beautiful arch set up at the entrance of the festival area. And look — it even says “Year of the Mouse” on it!
There’s also this gorgeous set-up, which we think would be the perfect spot to snap a pic for the Lunar New Year!
And now, onto the booths! First, there’s the Longevity Noodle Co. booth, featuring a cute bowl of noodles as well as the name on the sign!
We also got a peek at some menu pictures from Longevity Noodle Co. We can’t wait to get a sip of that Vietnamese Cold Brew!
We also got a look at the booth for the Lucky 8 Lantern.
Here’s a glimpse at the Lucky 8 menu — how cute is that Mickey Tea Tart?
We’re already getting hungry looking at the booth for Prosperity Bao & Buns!
We’re so excited to see that the Mickey Chinese Hot Dog Bun is back on the Prosperity Bao Buns menu!
We are LOVING the signage at Red Dragon Spice Traders. The twin dragons are a surefire way to get us in the mood for the Lunar New Year!
The Spice Traders menu items look like they’re going to be super focused on flavor, with returning picks like the Firecracker Three Cup Chicken Wings! Yum!
All in all, we can’t WAIT to give these yummy menus a try on Friday January 17th when the Lunar New Year kicks off at Disney California Adventure! Stay tuned to read our coverage of the big event!
