Oh, EPCOT Food and Wine Festival — so much food, yet so little time. But we’re doing our best to try and eat everything!
This includes brand new menu items as well as some old favorites. And today, one of our favorites from MANY years has returned to the Food & Wine Festival!
We made our way to the Wine and Dine Featuring Festival Favorites to get one of our favs, the Roasted Lamb Chop (previously seen in the Australia Booth). This is a roasted lamb chop served with mint pesto and potato crunchies (AKA, potato chips!). Although the dish is not new to us or the Food & Wine Festival, it is new to the food line up for 2020!
This was just like we remember…ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. And it’s easy to see why it’s been considered a festival favorite! Also, we LOVE the potato crunchies. Yes, we know it’s just crumbled up chips — but it works here, and we like it.
The meat was cooked perfectly, and the fresh mint added a nice extra touch to the flavor. The mint created a unique quality to the overall taste of this dish. You can see how tender the meat is here!
The Roasted Lamb Chop is $7.75, and if you like lamb, you’re going to love this! Even though the festival is coming to an end soon, we are THRILLED they brought this dish back today. We’ll keep wandering around the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival trying everything else we can find
