We constantly find ourselves in awe of the incredible details throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Whether we’re grabbing a bite to eat at Nomad Lounge or exploring Pandora — The World of Avatar, Animal Kingdom manages to keep us immersed in the sights, sounds, and flavors of the park. The attention to detail around the park is incredible, and recently we spotted another little touch that made us LOL! Although to be fair, we don’t think this addition was proposed by an Imagineer.
Inside the Tree of Life, guests will find the attraction, It’s Tough to be a Bug!

This 3D film shows guests what life is like as a bug, complete with some intense effects! In order to get the full impact of the attraction, guests each receive a pair of “bug-eye” 3D glasses, which they then return as they exit the theater.

But we recently saw something…different near It’s Tough to be a Bug. While we were passing by the exit of the attraction, we spotted this statue wearing a pair of the bug-eye 3D glasses from the attraction!

Since the statue is so close to the attraction’s exit, it’s likely that a guest forgot to return their 3D glasses after the show and decided to pass along their “honorary bug” status to this statue.

But hey, we think he’s actually rocking those glasses! And regardless of whether they were intentionally placed there, it definitely made us smile. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for other strange details around Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates!
