Recently, the State of California announced its reopening guidelines for Disneyland and other theme parks in the state.
While some reopening guidelines were expected like required face masks and extra sanitizing procedures, other guidelines were slightly surprising! These details we’re talking about are little things you might have missed, but will have a BIG impact on your future Disneyland vacation.
If you’re planning on visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios in December and have not yet made a park pass reservation, you may be out of luck.
As you may know, Disney World started the park pass reservation system when it reopened to keep its parks at limited capacity. So a park pass, in addition to a valid ticket, is now required to enter any given park.

There are plenty of unique items that are NOT allowed in Disney World. Selfie sticks and large strollers are some common items that have over the years been banned from being brought into the parks.
However, there are a few surprising items that absolutely ARE allowed in the parks! Service dogs are a common sight throughout the theme parks, but there’s another service animal that you may even know is allowed to enter Disney World. According to Disney, service animals include not only dogs, but MINIATURE HORSES as well!
Disney Springs is known for its incredible variety of shops.

Even though Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure remain closed at this time, there are plenty of fall goodies to find in Downtown Disney! We’ve already taken a bite out of the Ursula Caramel Apple and the Magic Mirror Rice Krispie Treat at Marceline’s Confectionary, both part of the seasonal treats to arrive at the Anaheim resort this month.
With Halloween just a couple of days away, even MORE limited-time snacks have arrived, and much to our delight, this one is a DFB favorite meets all things Pumpkin Spice!
Many areas of Disneyland Resort remain closed with the exception of Downtown Disney.
Disney continues to change the dates for when guests can book hotel reservations at Disneyland, and now we’ve received confirmation that reservations are cancelled through mid-November.
Since the reopening of Disney World, character meet and greets have looked a little bit different.
You can spot your favorites in the character cavalcades at each park, or even frolicking in the grass at EPCOT. Recently, we saw Anna and Elsa greet guests from a distance and now, another crowd-favorite is returning to the meet and greet scene!
