PICS: FREE Annual Passholder Magnet Now Available With Any Purchase at Disneyland Resort

We got some BIG news from Disneyland last week with the cancellation of its Annual Passholder program.

If you are a current Disneyland Annual Passholder, there are still some perks you can take advantage of though, specifically discounts on shopping and food purchases in Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street. And today we found another small AP perk — a FREE magnet.

Although Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are still closed, Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street are still open for limited shopping and dining. If you’re a Disneyland Annual Passholder and are heading to Downtown Disney or Buena Vista Street soon, you may also be able to get a little extra something while you’re there.

Expansion of Downtown Disney to Buena Vista Street

Today, when we visited Kingswell Camera Shop on Buena Vista Street, a Cast Member informed us that Disneyland Annual Passholders can now get a FREE magnet with any purchase.

The magnet celebrates 65 years of magic at Disneyland Resort and has the AP logo on the top. Disneyland’s 65th anniversary was last year (2020), and we saw all kinds of special merchandise released for it.

These magnets might be available at other locations throughout Downtown Disney as well. So, if you’ll be shopping in that area soon, be sure to ask whether the Cast Members have these available for you.

Keep in mind, those who held active Disneyland annual passes as of March 14th, 2020 will continue to receive applicable discounts based on AP type for merch and food purchases throughout Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street.

Also, from January 18th though February 25th, Passholders will receive a 30% discount on select merchandise at select Downtown Disney and Buena Vista locations Monday through Thursday.
