Eating cupcakes in Disney Parks is one of our favorite hobbies.
So when there’s a chance to not only get a Disney cupcake for free but also for kids to decorate that cupcake themselves, we’re here for it. Disneyland is hosting a FREE cupcake decorating event for kids based on the new Disney kids’ baking competition show called Disney’s Magic Bake-Off, and here’s how your kids can participate!
We visited Downtown Disney to see this brand new FREE event for kids, which will be taking place from August 20th to August 22nd. Sign-ups begin at 4PM daily and space is limited, so you need to get there early to reserve a spot.
The cupcake decorating takes place at three different times, 5PM, 6PM, and 7PM, and sign-up begins at 4PM. Kids from the ages of 7 to 12 get a chance to decorate cupcakes with Disneyland pastry chef Graciela “Gracie” Gomez as the baking judge!
There is also a photo-op for the kids that features several Disney characters!
This is what the kids had to work with when decorating! There was one cupcake, three bags of frosting, and three little containers of sprinkles.
All the participants seemed to have a blast decorating their own cupcakes at Disneyland Resort! So, if you know kids who love interactive events like this, try to get to Downtown Disney before 4PM to secure their spot. You can catch Disney’s Magic Bake-Off on the Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
And, we’ll give you a look at everything new coming to Disneyland soon! Stay tuned with DFB for the latest Disney entertainment and news!
