Even though we’ve still got Halloween and the 50th Anniversary ahead of us, we’re already thinking about the holiday season at Disney World!
This year, the two months of excitement will be highlighted by the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, plus decorations all around the resorts, special snacks, and offerings at Disney Springs. And today we found out that one of our favorite entertainment options will be returning!
The Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT typically features performers in each country, telling the story of Christmas and the holiday season for that particular culture. Last year, this offering was suspended for health and safety reasons. But, thanks to a job posting online, it looks like the storytellers may be coming back!
Disney Jobs shared a post this morning detailing a request for actors local to Central Florida. They’re looking for someone to fulfill the role of La Befana (the Italy storyteller) and Barn Santa (the Norway storyteller) during the festival. Those interested in these roles will need to apply before the end of September. Callbacks are scheduled for next month.
Thanks to reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for sharing this with us. We’ll keep checking to see if more roles are offered on the website, so stay tuned to DFB! We can’t wait to enjoy the Festival of the Holidays in full force again!
