Howdy from Magic Kingdom!

We’ve had a few rainy days in the parks lately, but that’s okay — a rainy day in Disney World is better than a sunny day at home (in our opinion, at least!). There have been some big crowds though recently, and we’re not exactly sure why, since it’s technically the slow season in Disney World. But, we do like to keep up with what’s going on around the parks so you can stay updated, so let’s take a look at what’s new in Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Main Street Confectionery

Over at the Confectionery, we spotted these new Dove Chocolate bars! They’re perfect as a little Valentine’s Day treat for $4.49.

We also found some other fun treats for the holiday, like this festive Mickey Rice Krispie treat…

…and this caramel apple!

Both are decorated with some pink, red, and white M&M’s.

Pinocchio Village Haus

If you’re looking for some classic theme park food that’s gluten free in Magic Kingdom, you’re in luck! There are now gluten-free chicken nuggets with fries over at Pinocchio Village Haus.

The nuggets were really good and crunchy and the fries are cooked in the same oil as the nuggets so there’s no cross-contamination. You can get these for $10.29.

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Splash Mountain

Construction continues on Splash Mountain, so we thought we’d give you the latest look at the work!

The ride is just undergoing routine maintenance right now, it’s not time for that The Princess and the Frog makeover yet.

We saw some scaffolding allll the way up at the top of the drop — yikes! That’s a little too high for us.

The ride should be open again in mid-February, so we’ll keep you updated!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

The Emporium

We found a new Hawkeye toy in The Emporium that features Clint in his purple suit with two different heads, some weapons, and (most importantly) Lucky the Pizza Dog!

You can get them for $29.99.

We saw a bunch of new jewelry in here last week, and now there’s another piece in the collection — these Cinderella bird earrings for $29.99.

There is also a new Jack Skellington shirt-jacket-hoodie combo! We actually have seen this in Disneyland, but it’s new to Magic Kingdom.

You can get it for $64.99.

Uptown Jewelers

In Uptown Jewelers there are some new mini princess Pandora charms! We have Tiana…

…Cinderella…

…Jasmine…

…and Ariel! These are all $55 each.

There is also a new Captain America watch and pin set in here.

It’s $450 and features pins with Steve Rogers AND Sam Wilson as Captain America.

It’s also limited edition!

Main Street Cinema — Vault Collection

The new Harvey’s bags that feature a vintage map of Magic Kingdom are back in stock here!

You can find them behind the counter, so ask a Cast Member about them.

The bags are $218 each.

Star Traders

In Star Traders, we found this new deer and fawn vase set as part of the recent cozy collection.

You can grab it for $44.99.

Fantasy Faire

There are new snowmen ears that light up in Fantasy Faire. We saw these online previously, but they arrived a little late for the holiday season in Disney World!

You can grab some for the next holiday season for $32.86.

Popcorn Buckets

A lot of popcorn buckets are back in stock around Magic Kingdom! We saw the 50th anniversary Mickey at the popcorn cart near the train station…

…and he was over at the cart in the Hub, along with Minnie and the gold Christmas tree buckets.

We found the Pink Mickey Balloon bucket in Frontierland…

…the Green Mickey Balloon bucket in Adventureland…

…and the Blue Mickey Balloon bucket in Tomorrowland!

There is also a Casey Jr. bucket over in Fantasyland.

Hurry up and grab them before they’re gone again!

Magic Kingdom Additional Updates

Lightning Lanes

Lightning Lanes were added for characters in Magic Kingdom this week! You can now use a Lightning Lane through Genie+ to see Mickey…

…as well as the princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall, like Tiana and Rapunzel!

Now you can skip the line to meet these characters.
