When Disney parks host festivals, you can expect all kinds of fun surprises!
EPCOT is home to four different festivals each year with different entertainment options, delicious eats, and all kinds of cool activities. But Disneyland Resort gets in on the fun as well with festivals throughout the year at Disney California Adventure. Coming soon, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will kick off on March 4th, and it’s bringing something really exciting!
In honor of the festival, Soarin’ Over California will return to the park for a limited run beginning on the same day that the festival starts. According to Disney, guests will soon be able to “relish the unforgettable sights, sounds and scents of the Golden State aboard this high-flying attraction.”
Typically, California Adventure is home to Soarin’ Around the World (the same version of the ride that currently resides at EPCOT), but every once in a while, Disney will bring back the Californian version for a limited run. This time, you’ll be able to ride it throughout the duration of the festival — we can’t wait!
We’ll keep you updated on all the other things coming to this festival, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest. And you know that we’ll be there soon to try all the delicious eats!

Are wait times for the Tower of Terror finally gonna go down?
I rode Soarin’ Over California years ago and it was a magical experience. So fun to see all the places I knew from “the sky”.
Now that I live in Massachusetts, we go to Disney World more often.
Although I love Soarin’ Around the World, the California version hold a special place in my heart and I hope someday I get to experience it again.
