If Disney's New Burger Made a Sound, It Would Be a Sad Trombone

Don’t let Oktoberfest slip through the cracks this year! The holiday celebrates German culture, with a traveling fair in Germany that has rides, shows, snacks, and (of course) the signature beer. But you can also find ways to celebrate Oktoberfest in Disneyland! Let’s head to Tomorrowland to try a new snack that’s inspired by this holiday.

At Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, you can find the Oktoberfest-inspired Burger for a limited time.

This burger is made with an Angus Beef Patty, Bratwurst, Grilled Peppers and Onions, Sauerkraut, and House-made Mustard Cheese on a Pretzel Bun. It’s served with your choice of Greek Yogurt or French Fries, and you can get one for $15.49.

Oktoberfest-Inspired Burger

It certainly sounds like a hearty meal, but does this burger deliver on taste?

Will it be delicious?

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much that really wowed us about this burger. The pretzel bun was our favorite part because it had a nice crunch on the outside and a good pretzel flavor, and the grilled peppers and onions were cooked perfectly with a slight crunch, but that was the extent of what we liked.

There was a little too much going on with the burger overall. The patty was dry and didn’t pair well with the bratwurst, and the sauerkraut was just okay flavor-wise. Even our fries were cold and bland! It’s a really heavy meal altogether, and it’s not really the best meal option for a hot day.
