DATE REVEALED for the CLOSURE of 2 Disney Restaurants

It’s a sad day when Disney restaurants close their doors.

But that typically means something new is on the horizon — and if there’s one thing that makes us extremely happy, it’s having new Disney foods to try! Now that we’ve pumped you up, we do have some less-than-stellar news about two Disney restaurants that are closing.

Catal Restaurant and its outdoor bar Uva Bar & Cafe will be closing “to make way for an exciting new addition to the Downtown Disney District” in Disneyland!

Catal is a modern and colorful Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, while its outdoor bar, Uva, Is a great spot for a small (or big) meal and a drink, and it’s also the perfect place to soak up some California sunshine.

UPDATE: Based on the initial Disneyland website calendar information, it looked like the last day to dine at Catal or Uva would be April 9th. But that has since changed.

Both Catal and Uva have shared via Instagram that their LAST day of service will be April 14th. After that, these restaurants will CLOSE.

Both spots have indicated that they’re celebrating a “delicious 22 years” unil that last day.

For now, Disney hasn’t shared what might be taking the place of these eateries, but with such a great outdoor space like Uva Bar & Cafe, we can only hope it’s something equally as nice.

Whether or not the space will stay shared or potentially split into different concepts remains to be seen, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for more updates on this — because if there’s one thing we’re excited about, it’s new Disney food!
