Earlier in 2023, Disney announced that Magic Key passes (the new annual passes to Disneyland Resort) would become available to purchase from time to time throughout the year. We saw sales open up a little later in January, but some pass types quickly sold out. For a while, the Inspire Key was the only one available to buy, but that has CHANGED.

Disney announced that ALL 4 Disneyland Magic Key pass types would become available to buy today April 11th, 2023 so we made our way to the Disneyland website to check it out.

These new Magic Key pass sales are being conducted online ONLY. You’ll visit the Disneyland website to check them out. Then it’s time to sit in a virtual queue until your turn arrives.

Our approximate wait time was over an hour! On April 11th, all 4 pass types were made available for new purchases. When we visited, all pass types were still available.

Here’s a breakdown of the pass prices:

Inspire Key — $1,599
Believe Key – $1,099
Enchant Key — $699
Imagine Key (Only available for Southern California Residents living in zip codes 90000 to 9359) — $449

If you want a new Magic Key pass, we highly recommend you purchase yours ASAP. Last time, pass types quickly started to sell out so NOW is likely the best chance you’ll have at getting the exact pass type you want (until new pass sales are opened up again in the future).

Disney warns, “The quantity of passes and pass types available for renewal or purchase may be limited, and passes or a pass type may be unavailable from time to time or at any given time, or available only for renewals.”
