We hate being the bearers of bad news, but you might not be able to grab your favorite Disneyland snack in the park, depending on when you’re visiting.

If you’re planning on visiting the Happiest Place on Earth soon, your restaurant plans may have included stopping for a bite to eat at Tiana’s Palace or grabbing a few snacks celebrating Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder celebration. However, if that wasn’t all on your list, take note now that a popular restaurant’s temporary closure could put a dent in your plans.

Disneyland seems to be wracked with all kinds of closure announcements lately and we’ve just learned of another one that’s happening fairly soon. One of the restaurants in New Orleans Square has revealed a temporary closure, and it’s closer than we thought.

The Mint Julep Bar is now slated to be closed from October 29th through October 31st, 2023. This is a prominent spot to stop in and grab an iconic Mint Julep cup and a few Mickey-shaped Beignets.

However, it doesn’t seem like the closure will last long. The restaurant is expected to reopen on November 1st, 2023. So this means we won’t go too long without some of our favorite Disney snacks!

While we’re sad to see it close for a few days (especially since it only recently reopened after a long closure), the silver lining here is that it won’t be closed for an extended amount of time.
