It’s a great time to be a Disneyland fan! The 70th Anniversary Celebration is getting ready to kick off, which means a ton of new eats, entertainment, souvenirs, and a whole lot more.

No matter when you’re planning on visiting the OG Disney park, being a Magic Key passholder can help you save a buck or two on your visits. But, if you were interested in purchasing a new Magic Key pass — you might be out of luck.

Disneyland Magic Key passes went on sale again in January 2025, giving fans the opportunity to keep coming back again and again — but, if you were hoping to purchase a new pass, you’re out of luck. As of April 4th, all new Magic Key pass sales have been paused.

Luckily, if you’re already a Magic Key passholder, you can go ahead and still renew your pass once it becomes available for renewal. As of now, Disney has not announced when the passes might go back on sale, but they have said in the past that sales will resume at a later date.
