Heading to Disneyland soon to celebrate the park’s 70th Anniversary?! We don’t blame you!

The festivities will see the return of some beloved shows and other limited-time entertainment, colorful decor, special food and beverages, exclusive merchandise, and more. And, while you’re there, you can enjoy tons of eats and treats that Disneyland has to offer! We just tried a new dessert at Disney California Adventure, and trust us — it tastes better than it looks!

We stopped by Schmoozies! in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure to try the new Lemon Pound Cake Shake! This milkshake is $13.29 and is a fresh, summer lemon shake with whipped topping and a lemon slice. Sounds like summer in a cup to us, but how does it taste?

Lemon Pound Cake Shake

Luckily, it tastes much better than it looks! While it’s a little grey in color, the flavor of this shake totally makes up for its appearance. This is a great treat for a summer day in the parks! The lemon flavor isn’t really tart at all. They managed to make the lemon taste pretty sweet without it tasting artificial. There’s a sweet and creamy vanilla cake taste throughout that cuts out any tart flavor.

It’s basically a slice of lemon pound cake in shake form! If you love lemon or citrus and want a cool treat, we can’t recommend this enough. Even if you don’t normally like sour or tart lemon flavors, don’t let that stop you from trying this one out!
