Lightning Lane Premier Pass has officially landed in Disneyland Resort.
We tested it out on its first day in Disneyland, and learned some VALUABLE lessons that mean we won’t make these same mistakes again!
Both Disneyland and Disney World threw us for a spin earlier this month when they announced the release of Lighting Lane Premier Pass for both coasts.
This is in addition to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass currently available at both resorts but work differently from one another. Premier Pass also has different rules depending on which coast you’re visiting, but in Disneyland, it’s open for all guests willing to pay $400 a day, so we knew we had to try it out to tell you what we thought — here’s just how fast you can get through EVERYTHING included in Lightning Lane Premier Pass in Disneyland.
The wait is FINALLY over, friends — this restaurant on Disney’s BoardWalk has opened its doors, and we couldn’t be happier!
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers has been highly anticipated for many years now. Originally scheduled to open in 2023, the opening was pushed to early 2024…then Fall 2024, and here we are! Today, October 24th, The Cake Bake Shop soft opened the doors to its first Florida location — come take a look inside with us!
Disney World has changed in a lot of ways throughout the past few decades, but one of the biggest ones is how much you use your phone now.
In the past decade, using your phone in Disney World has become a necessity if you want to do all you want to get done — you’ve gotta use it to check wait times, book Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass selections, join a Virtual Queue, and you can also use it to see your PhotoPass photos and mobile order food. Sure, you can do Disney World without your phone, but it does make things harder. This means that you’ll be using up a lot of your battery in the park, and it’s important to have a phone that can handle everything. We did the research, and these are the phones that will NOT survive a Disney World day easily.
It’s been a little while since we’ve heard anything about a new show that’s supposedly coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The new show, “The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure,” was originally supposed to open in Fall 2024 but has recently been pushed to Summer 2025, and a new permit was filed for the area, but that’s the last we’ve heard of it. This new show is replacing the former Voyage of the Little Mermaid show, which hasn’t been performed since before the 2020 park closures, and the building has been sitting empty. However, we’ve got an update now that definitely shows things are moving forward — a new casting call has been released!
Character dining is a big draw for many families in Disney World.
While it’s more expensive than many other table service restaurants in Disney World (but not all!), the meet-and-greet opportunities you get with some of your favorite Disney characters make the cost worth it for many. However, we’re sorry to say that price increases have struck again in the parks, and several character dining experiences have increased around Disney World.
2025 is right around the corner, and that means that your vacations are too!
If you’re planning on staying on property during your Disney World vacation, there are a lot of hotels to choose from. No hotel is a bad choice, per say, but they are very different from each other, so it’s important to realize what’s best for you and your group may not be the same for another. These mistakes are ones you’ll definitely want to avoid though, no matter where you stay on property!
There are many treats in Disney World that we’re massive fans of.
For example, the massive Cinnamon Roll and newer Crème Brûlée Croissant are some of our go-to options in Magic Kingdom, we love trying out the different festival booths in EPCOT, Lunch Box Tarts in Hollywood Studios are sometimes hit or miss (but when they hit, they HIT), and Animal Kingdom is just KNOWN for their iconic treats around the parks. However, there’s one item that we always HOPE will be good, and often never is, and our most recent experience wasn’t any different.
Animal Kingdom is full of restaurant gems, but some of them are more tucked away than people think.
Dawa Bar is one of them — this bar, located right near Tusker House in Africa, is home to some great concoctions that are great when you just need a quick drink but don’t want to spend too much time at a table service restaurant/lounge. No reservations are needed here, and we stopped by recently to grab two of our favorite drinks from the menu!
We’re less than 2 weeks away from Halloween, and while we don’t want to rush the season, we’re also excited that it means the holiday season in Disney World is around the corner once again!
That means holiday decorations will be all over the resort soon, holiday treats will become available, and while we’ve already seen some merchandise become available, we’re expecting even more to be on the shelves. But there are also some special events that happen this time of year that you won’t want to miss out on, like this one in Disney Springs!
