Hurricane season in Florida runs from June 1st to November 30th, which means it’s likely you’ll be visiting Disney World during the season. This can mean lots of heavy storms, and if you’re not prepared, your entire trip can be ruined.
Frogg Toggs Poncho
We’re in the parks every single day, and that means we’re seeing all different sorts of weather, including those massive storms that can throw you for a loop. One thing we always have in our backpacks is our handy dandy rain poncho, and it can totally save your Disney World trip.

We have a lot of opinions on theme parks. Like, a lot, a lot. We have some popular ones and probably some that leave you scratching your heads (hey, we like the plastic cheese sauce and we’re not afraid to say it).

When we saw Central Florida Favorites announce their “Welcome to the 2026 edition of Central Florida Favorites,” we knew we had to take a peek to see their rankings. Well, we’re glad that some are getting a special shoutout; we might be questioning some others.
We love Disney World for all of its magic, but we’d be lying if we said the weather wasn’t a major concern most days. From the heat to massive storms to even just dealing with the humidity and sunshine, Florida weather is something you’ll want to be prepared for.

We might be distracted by the Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom and Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, but you can’t forget about the Cars area coming to Magic Kingdom!

Piston Peak is moving right along, and while Disney hasn’t announced any opening dates or timelines, we can see a lot of dirt being moved for the land that is taking over Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America (they closed a while ago, but they still live in our hearts). Check out the newest update for Piston Peak!
If you’re massive Disney foodies like us, then you’ll be so excited to hear that menus have dropped for The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic!
Swan and Dolphin
The festival runs from November 20th to 21st, from 5 PM to 9 PM each day, and will feature gourmet cuisine from award-winning chefs, paired with fine wines, beers, and spirits from around the world. It’s only a hop, skip, and a jump from EPCOT and open to the public whether you’re staying at the resort or not. Doesn’t that sound amazing? Let’s just jump into the food!
Oh, now we’re ZOOMING!

While there isn’t an official opening date announced for this new Universal Hollywood roller coaster, the ride has soft opened, welcoming guests on, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is just around the corner, starting on August 14th and running till the 16th. It will be packed with Disney-themed panels, photo opportunities, and souvenirs, and while we are SO excited for the panels, we’re also very, very excited about all the souvenirs.
