Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another DFB Video, and today we’re talking about ALL the Disney Parks news you need to know!
Disney World starts to open in FOUR DAYS with the phased re-opening of Disney Springs. Although third-party locations will be greeting guests first, Disney-owned restaurants and stores will be following soon after. Universal Orlando’s CityWalk also opened, and we took you with us to look at ALL the new health and safety precautions (including temperature checks!).
UPDATE: At 10:30 AM ET, shopDisney announced “Due to overwhelming interest in today’s release, we’re currently experiencing technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work with our partners to quickly rectify the situation.”

And now Blaze Pizza has just informed us they will also be reopening their Disney Springs location starting May 20th.
Florida has been in a Phase One of reopening since May 4th, and now it seems they’re taking the next step.
In a press conference today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis explained the intention for the state to move to a “Full Phase One” on Monday. The new order loosens limitations on restaurants, gyms, and sports venues — but what does it mean for Orlando theme parks like Disney World?
Only moments ago we learned Planet Hollywood would be joining the first wave of Disney Springs third-party restaurants to gradually reopen on May 20th.
And now according to The Boathouse’s Instagram, we have confirmation they’re be reopening next Wednesday as well.
