Blue Bayou is an atmospheric dining experience found in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. Literally found within the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in the bayou scene, Blue Bayou opened in 1967 and serves Cajun cuisine. One of the most famous Disney restaurants in the world and serving as inspiration for many other atmospheric dining experiences that followed, Blue Bayou remains legendary to this day. But does it hold up after all this time? We recently visited and found an answer!

Matterhorn Bobsleds is known as the first tubular steel track roller coaster and has been an absolute icon at Disneyland Park since it opened in 1959. Now celebrating its 65th anniversary, this major Disney landmark has stood the test of time through all kinds of expansion and Resort changes. In honor of the attraction’s longevity and importance in Disneyland’s history, Disney is offering a new Matterhorn-themed dessert!
Pixar Fest has brought tons of exciting eats and experiences to Disneyland Resort this summer.

One of these new offerings was Club Pixar, an entertainment offering that was scheduled to run through August 4th. However, the show has closed two months early.
Expansion is on the horizon at the Disneyland Resort, but that doesn’t mean you’ll need to wait years to start seeing some changes!
Downtown Disney
Both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will see some MAJOR changes over the next decade and we’ll be there every step of the way! With that said, the changes happening aren’t just limited to the theme parks. Downtown Disney District, Disneyland’s non-theme park dining and shopping district, will also look different — starting NOW!
Nearly every single day, we think about how much we miss Disney’s Magical Express service.

This was a free service that took guests to and from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and their Disney World hotel, and it was so deeply loved by pretty much all who used it. It was a magical, exciting, FREE thing to start and/or end your Disney World trip with. Now the closest thing to the old service is Mears Connect, which is NOT free and comes with much less Disney magic. But do you know what we miss more? This Disneyland Hotel perk that bypassed ALL the crowds.
