With colder weather coming up, we’re making our list of must-watches, and thanks to Disney+, we’ve got a long list of new shows and movies hitting the streaming platform this month!
If you’re already subscribed to Disney+, you might think you know everything your membership includes, with hours of binge-worthy shows, blockbuster movies, and exclusive content you can’t find anywhere else.

But what if we told you your subscription also unlocks some serious perks that could save you time, money, and maybe even some travel stress? Disney+ introduced Disney+ Perks, a program that gives members access to exclusive limited-time offers, and two of them are pretty incredible!

If you are a football fan, and we’re assuming a Disney fan as well, you’re going to be hyped to hear that Disney+ is teaming up with the FL yet again to bring a fun “altcast” to the streaming service. Monsters Funday Football is hitting your screens, and while it may not be the Scare Games, it’ll be just as entertaining — let’s take a look at the details!
Disney continues to produce original shows specifically for Disney+. Many of these shows have been enjoyed by fans — kids and adults alike. Now that Disney+ also offers Hulu (and will soon be the one and only app offering Disney+ and Hulu shows), people of all ages can enjoy entertainment on the app.

However, we’ve noticed that many recent shows, including some fan favorites, have been getting canceled from Disney+. There have been 5 shows within the past two years alone that have been canceled after only ONE season. There have also been numerous shows canceled after two seasons. It feels like these shows hardly even got a chance, plus several of them performed really well, even winning awards. Let’s take a look at which shows Disney has pulled the plug on.

There’s an entire section on the Disney+ website dedicated to perks you can get with your subscription. Occasionally, you can enter sweepstakes to go to events or claim free prizes. And right now, you have the chance to win a TRON: Ares popcorn bucket!

This past weekend was New York Comic-Con, and wow, did Marvel announce some exciting news tidbits you don’t want to miss out on! In case you weren’t in attendance or just want everything in one place, here are the biggest announcements!

We’re still thrilled we got a sequel to one of our favorite 2000s Disney films, Freaky Friday, especially since it came 22 years after the original film’s release!

The film starred Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis playing daughter and mother, who switch bodies after receiving cryptic fortunes at a Chinese restaurant. As they parade around having to pretend to be each other until they find a solution, they develop a new respect and understanding for one another. It was a classic, grossing $22 million just at opening with a $20 million budget, but since 2003, it’s grown exponentially, grossing a total of nearly $162 million present day. People rushed to the theaters to watch the sequel, Freakier Friday, and now we know when it’s coming to digital!
If you’re looking for some nostalgia in your life, you’re likely just as excited for the upcoming A Very Jonas Christmas Movie as we are!

We were SO thrilled to hear about this movie announcement back in September, and now we’re just counting down the days until the November 14th debut on Disney+.
