If there’s one thing we hate forgetting to pack if we’re headed to Disney World, it’s a pair of sunglasses.
That Florida sun is brutal, and it can definitely show in your PhotoPass photos when you can’t open your eyes because the sun is so bright. Plus, you’ll miss out on all the great scenery at Disney World without some shades! Luckily, a new pop-up shop in EPCOT can help you out if you forget this essential.
Disney is officially celebrating its 100th anniversary. There are celebrations for this huge milestone happening in Disney World, Disneyland, and around the world.
Since this is such a big deal, Disney is also celebrating with some 100th anniversary merchandise. We have seen collections around the parks and online. Amazon has even joined in on the fun with a 100th anniversary collection, and a few of the items are Amazon exclusives!
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Board (formerly the Reedy Creek Improvement District) held a meeting on April 26th, 2023, where they declared that agreements previously entered into by Disney and the former Reedy Creek Board were void.
This was apparently the final straw for Disney, who was primed and ready to file a federal lawsuit. Imagineers are responsible for so much of the Disney magic we know and love.
From Disneyland to Disney World and beyond, the parks just wouldn’t be the same without them. One important Imagineer, Bob Weis, retired at the end of 2022, and Disney just revealed how they’ve chosen to honor him and his contributions to the company! And if you ask us, it’s pretty iconic.
Have you decided to take a trip to Walt Disney World? Congratulations! The excitement starts the minute that you start planning your vacation.

But where do you begin? Whether this is a first trip to Disney World or a repeat visit, it takes patience to research flights, transportation, hotels, dining, tickets, and more.
