food IS a theme park
A LOT goes into planning a Disney World trip.
Want to save on flights?
First, you need to decide when you want to visit. Then you’ll need to choose a place to stay (and there are SO many choices just on Disney property alone). You might also want to budget for the trip and hope that airfare to and from Orlando won’t be TOO expensive. Well, we’ve got you covered on that last part because you can score a flight to Orlando International Airport for less than $100 RIGHT NOW.
Some of the busiest weekends in Disney World are when there’s a runDisney race going on in the parks!

During those weekends, you can expect to see big crowds, long wait times, and packed hotels throughout Disney World as runners come down to race and then celebrate their achievements in the theme parks. Whether you’re running or not, we recommend seriously planning ahead so that your trip isn’t made up entirely of waiting in long lines and fighting through crowds. If you’re going to be in Disney World during the EPCOT Wine & Dine runDisney weekend coming up soon, there’s one VERY important date you need to know about! [Read more…]

A new land has opened in Disney’s California Adventure Park!
It’s officially open!
San Fransokyo Square — a Big Hero 6 re-theming of the Pacific Wharf area — officially opened on August 31st, 2023. We had already seen some new eats and drinks arrive at restaurants in the area ahead of the official opening date, but now a rethemed/updated restaurant is open and we’re here to give you a review on a few menu items you’ll find there!
Every once in a while, it’s nice to refresh your wardrobe, right? Who doesn’t love a spooky Halloween shirt for fall or a cozy red sweater in the winter? And if you’re visiting one of the Disney parks, it’s especially fun to pick out some special Disney-inspired outfits for your trip!

If you’ve followed DFB for a while, you know that we have a serious obsession with cheese.
Salt & Straw
We will NEVER stop telling you how much we love plastic cheese (and if we do, call a doctor because there would be something wrong with us). We’re also big fans of that Donut Grilled Cheese sandwich from Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew. So when we discovered that Salt & Straw had put CHEESE in ice cream, well, you know we were running to Disney Springs to try it out.
