Ever since news broke of Universal’s newest Orlando park and all of its themed worlds (and its delicious-looking eats) coming in 2025 we’ve been very busy gathering any and all updates as they’ve come. We’ve scoped out the newest updates to construction on the park and have already stayed in one of the newest Universal hotels to put us as close to the action as possible! However, Universal recently flexed a bit of the new technology we can expect to find within one of the immersive worlds and it has us screaming in an ear-deafening tone!
A brand-new experience is coming to Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay water park!

For the first time ever, the acclaimed park will be open on select nights during select Saturday nights in April and May. According to Universal, this “all-new, limited-capacity event allows guests to enjoy their favorite water attractions, live entertainment, DreamWorks character meet and greets, complimentary island treats and more at the lush, tropical oasis,” and tickets are on sale now!

Earlier this week, the Orlando City Council voted to approve $500,000 for a study on a potential expansion of the SunRail system to include stops at Orlando International Airport, the Universal Orlando Resort, the Orlando Convention Center, and Disney Springs.
We’re only a few months away from the grand opening of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, and we can’t wait.
