We’ve got BIG news this week y’all! It’s almost time to dream a fantastic dream with Sorcerer Mickey again, soon you’ll be able to step into the casita from Encanto, another Disney parks-related movie has been announced, and MORE!
This week brought some HUGE changes to Disney World.
Disney Genie
First, we saw price increases on everything from Minnie Ears to water to food. Then, we learned that Genie+ would begin using flexible pricing, with a max of $22 per day on busier days. Well, as of today, we’ve officially reached that max price for the service.
Is your wardrobe overflowing with Disney clothes? We get it. There are so many amazing options, featuring our favorite characters, movies, and rides — it’s hard to resist some of the designs we’ve seen!

Some of our favorite pizza places include Via Napoli in EPCOT, Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, and Pizza Ponte in Disney Springs, and the pizza window (known as Pizza al Taglio) in EPCOT, if you’re lucky to catch it open. And today diners got a BIG pizza surprise in Disney Springs!

If you’ve been keeping up with Disney World news over the past several months, then you’ve likely heard at least a little of the drama with the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

The Reedy Creek Improvement District was first established in 1968, allowing Disney World to operate as its own government, giving the property things like its own fire department, special taxing laws, and more power over the land it controls. After Disney spoke out against Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Law (what critics called the “Don’t Say Gay” bill), a bill was introduced and quickly signed into law that will dissolve the Reedy Creek Improvement District in June 2023 unless a resolution is reached before then. So if Reedy Creek is abolished, what happens next?
It’s spooky season, but you know what’s REALLY scary? Looking at your bank account after a Disney trip!
