Things are changing at Disney World, and that’s starting with a few major construction projects happening currently.

We’ve got the TRON coaster construction in progress at Magic Kingdom, and additions being made to the Polynesian Village Resort, as well as new restaurants coming to the BoardWalk and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But perhaps the biggest undertaking of them all is the transformation of EPCOT, and today we’re taking a closer look at the construction progress over there — and more specifically, the progress on Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana.

Today kicks off three days of panels, exhibits, news, and more — and we’re here to bring you along on all the fun! One of the very first panels of the day was the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony, where Disney honored 14 legends who made a lasting impact on the company. A new, unfavorable sustainability rating for the Maine and New England lobster fisheries could mean less lobster dishes on the menu at Disney restaurants.
