A new Tables in Wonderland event at The Wave has been announced for January 20th. This is for Tables in Wonderland Members and guests only.

The Wave… of American Flavors Discovery Dinner
Date: Thursday, January 20, 2011
Time: 6:30 p.m. Reception; 7 p.m. Dinner
Location: The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Please meet at restaurant’s main podium
Dress: Casual Evening Attire
Price: $92 per person, includes tax and gratuity

For reservations, e-mail [email protected] with the following information: your interest to book, your name, daytime phone number, home address, and the number of people in your party. You will be notified on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Your credit card will be taken over the phone once your reservation is confirmed. The event is limited to 50 Guests.

Now through January 7, you can enjoy Sicilian-style Margherita pizza by the slice at a pick-up podium at Via Napoli. An a la carte single-serving dessert and fountain beverage will also be available.

Happy Christmas, everyone!

So, I was wandering around Epcot’s Germany during our October vacation and found myself in the Christmas store there. “Wow,” I thought, “there’s so much great Christmas stuff here that I’d love to write about, but none of it is food-related, so… .” But then, there it was! To their credit, Kouzzina was only closed for refurbishment for a few weeks, so we’re excited that anything happened in that time! That said… The Kouzzina dining room will still be large, loud, and barn-like — not bad, just not all that different from what it was. On my last trip to Walt Disney World, I stole a few precious moments on my own at the Magic Kingdom.

Now, when most people find themselves solo at the MK, they might hit up a ride they haven’t been on in a while or maybe do some shopping at the Emporium. Me? I eat. This time, it was seasonal treats that I’d never tried before: Pumpkin Fudge and a Holiday Cupcake!

Gingerbread Displays At Disney World 2010, Part 2
