Disney World is constantly changing and evolving, but recently, we’ve seen the company focus on fixing a growing issue with Disney resorts.

Island Tower
Walt Disney World’s hotels are facing a growing problem — too much demand. Even with more than 25 resorts across property, many guests are finding it increasingly difficult to book their preferred hotel or room. Here is what we see Disney doing to fix this issue.
I’d be lying if I said tears weren’t shed when MuppetVision was given its final show date. While not everything was quickly forgotten, it’s hard not to feel excited for the new Muppet roller coaster in Hollywood Studios.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is being transformed into Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets (can we all agree we’re just going to call it rock ‘n’?), and it’s coming in hot summer 2026. Disney released new concept art, and we’re going through all the details you won’t want to miss.
We talk about hydration a lot here at DFB because it’s one of the most important things you can do when you’re visiting Disney World. It gets hot there, and all that walking in the Florida sun can really take its toll.
So we’re going to keep recommending water bottles and tumblers because we highly recommend you keep one on you at all times when you’re visiting the parks. Well, for those who like Stanley cups for their hydration needs, we’ve got good news: an exclusive NEW color, Thyme, just dropped online at Amazon.
Disney Springs is the ultimate shopping and dining district, but when it comes to entertainment…the options are a little more limited here. But that’s changing! Back in the day (raise your hand if you remember this), Disney Springs hosted DisneyQuest and the NBA Experience, two entertainment offerings that are now defunct. So, what’s the replacement? We’re so glad you asked! Oh, and if you’re as invested as we are, you can even be part of the OPENING DAY TEAM! Dream job, anyone?

NBA Experience
We are SO ready for the new addition of Level99, which is coming to the same building where Disney’s previous entertainment offerings used to live. While there’s no official opening timeline just yet, we recently saw Disney start work on the building’s exterior, and now we’ve found ANOTHER big sign that this experience is getting closer to opening!
Lightning Lane is Disney World’s skip-the-line system available for a fee to all guests visiting the resort.
The Lightning Lane system can be confusing for everyone, but especially for anyone new to the parks. I’ve been going to Disney World for many years and am very familiar with the system, and I STILL make mistakes now and then. The system has changed several times in the past few years, so it’s totally reasonable that mistakes happen. Here’s what happened to me and how I solved it (and how you can solve any mistakes you make, too).
While washing your hands with soap and water is always preferred to keep your hands clean, sometimes you’re not near a bathroom in Disney World, and want something ASAP to clean your hands off.
This is where hand sanitizer comes in, but why use boring ones in the park when you can make your hand sanitizer themed to Disney? One of the most popular brands of hand sanitizer is Touchland, and there’s a Disney-themed edition that we cannot get enough of, but is it worth the price?
Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton, who portrayed Nina Banks in the Father of the Bride movies, has passed away, according to People.
The actress won an Academy Award for her performance in Annie Hall and also portrayed Kay Adams in all three Godfather movies. She was 79 and passed away in California.

You’d think saving money at Disney World would be something people jump at, right? And in many cases, they do.
But when it comes to MagicBands, many guests still choose convenience over cost. Even though your phone can handle nearly everything a MagicBand can—and more—families keep spending the extra cash. So let’s talk about why people are still buying MagicBands when they technically don’t need to, and whether they’re worth the extra money on your next trip.
