Disney World is CHANGING in 2025. We’re talking BIG changes. First, we’re starting to see construction in Magic Kingdom for the Cars expansion and the new Villains land.

Then we’re going to see the debut of a new Zootopia show in Animal Kingdom, and we’ve already seen a new Villains show in Hollywood Studios. Oh, then there’s a new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, too. Test Track has reopened with a brand new look and feel! However, these changes aren’t just happening in the parks. Disney World hotels are changing, too.

Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe has been making waves since it announced an opening date of May 22nd, 2025. The new theme park will feature several themed lands and a brand-new hotel — Universal Helios Grand Hotel — INSIDE the park. It’s been a popular practice to compare the future of Universal Orlando to Disney World’s future, which begs the question: will Disney World try its hand at putting a hotel inside one of its parks?

BREAKING: Universal Orlando Quietly Delays Opening of Epic Universe Hotel

We’ve been getting hyped about the grand opening of Universal Orlando’s NEW theme park, Epic Universe.

We’ve learned a lot about the park’s five themed lands, as well as got details on when tickets went on sale (it’s now, people — TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW). We also learned about a special perk Universal Orlando Annual Passholders will be getting when it comes to Epic Universe. We’ve even learned details about the three new Epic Universe hotels, including opening dates. However, we just recently discovered that ONE of those hotels’ opening dates just got pushed back.

For a while now, we’ve been watching construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where a new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) tower is being built. The Island Tower is set to open in December with new dining, entertainment, and hotel rooms, and we can’t wait!
