Disneyland has seen a ton of changes already. Last year, a newly updated ToonTown reopened, Tarzan’s Treehouse became Adventureland Treehouse, Haunted Mansion closed to get an updated queue area, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is under construction. But a huge $1.9 billion expansion is also coming to the park, which means new rides, lands, restaurants, and more!
Okay, everyone stay calm, but we’ve been getting more and more clues EVERY day that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom could get an opening date VERY soon.
Almost there!
Not only did we recently see some Imagineers actually ride-testing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but Disney has been dropping more details about the characters and animatronics we’ll be seeing on the ride. However, we think we just got a HUGE clue that we’ll be getting an opening date for the ride ANY DAY NOW.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is “Almost There” (yes, we’ll be referencing songs from The Princess and the Frog FOREVER).

We’ve been following construction on both versions of the ride in Disney World and Disneyland. We’ve learned a LOT about some of the characters we’ll get to meet as we float down the bayou. We’ve also learned a bit about the new gift shops coming to Disney World and Disneyland. But what about merchandise? There HAS to be merchandise, and well, there OBVIOUSLY has to be ears. Well, we’ve got a first look at the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Minnie Ears!
The Monorail is an iconic part of the parks. Walt Disney had a passion for trains, and the monorail was one of his dreams for the parks.
To this day, the monorail is a key form of transportation around Disney World, and it definitely has its own fan club. You can even find monorail merchandise!

Frozen Ever After being evacuated
Sometimes, the weather is completely uncooperative (rain, we’re talking about storms and rain). Sometimes, you have to deal with crowds. Sometimes, rides close because of technical or other issues. But what happens if you’re on a ride when those issues arise and it needs to be evacuated?
We’re getting “closer and closer every day” to the grand opening of Disney’s newest ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. In fact, dare we say, the ride is “Almost There?” 😀

We’ve learned so much about the ride, including what its story will be like, what kind of music it will have, and even what the Tiana animatronic will look like (and she looks INCREDIBLE). We’ve been following how the red stone of Splash Mountain was converted into greenery with white flowers, and we’ve watched some ride testing. But there’s one key thing we don’t hear a lot of folks talking about: the queue.

Now, we’ve already told you about the gross Code V, and the even grosser, Code H. Code A isn’t much better (and we’re still shocked this happens). Then there’s the Code 101. Now THAT code is what Cast Members use when a ride closes. So yeah, most of these codes are all bad news. However, we’re going to tell you about a code that means good news, Code 102.

No, we’re not talking about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, although we love keeping track of the ride’s construction. We’re actually talking about a new attraction coming to Magic Kingdom that will have you sniffing your way around Storybook Circus. Well, we’ve got a new update on that attraction!
It’s a very busy season for the international Disney parks!
