Animal Kingdom has welcomed some new baby animals recently, and if you haven’t seen them yet, trust us when we say they’re adorable. With so many newcomers in the park, the baby animals had to celebrate their mothers as well!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is such an underrated park. Although part of it is under construction right now as DinoLand, U.S.A. becomes a new land called Pueblo Esperanza, a visit to Animal Kingdom is worth the time during your next Disney trip.

The beauty of Animal Kingdom is that it’s WAY more than just rides. It’s a chance to get up close and personal with the animals that call the park home. And the thing is…new animals join the ranks of Animal Kingdom all the time. Well, we now have to tell you about some newcomers to the park — and trust us, you’re going to love this news because these latest additions are newborns.
We love Disney’s Animal Kingdom as is on any day of the week, but we especially love it when we find out it’s home to some new adorable residents!

Animal Kingdom is actively a conservation center for dozens upon dozens of species of animals, from small birds to massive elephants, and every now and then a new animal is born. All eyes have been on Bakso, the new baby tiger you can find on the Maharajah Jungle Trek, but now there’s a NEW family of baby birds you can see too!

And, when good news like this comes along, we can’t wait to share it with you, our readers. We’ve been keeping tabs on baby Bakso, the brand-new Sumatran tiger cub at Disney’s Animal Kingdom since we first learned of his birth, and now, he’s officially made his Maharajah Jungle Trek debut!

Not only can you see animals doing their thing on the savanna on a safari ride, but you can also take one of Animal Kingdom’s many walking trails to see many different species. Even better, Disney is doing its part to bring more animals into the world, especially those that are endangered, so baby animals are often born at the park. Now, two NEW baby animals have come into the world to call Animal Kingdom home.

But Animal Kingdom isn’t just a place where Disney showcases animals from all over the world. No, Disney also does a great deal with animal conservation and has a breeding program in place to help increase the numbers of species that are endangered. Well, a new baby animal has been born at Animal Kingdom…but its story is even more special thanks to the Cast Member who inspired its name.
