Right now, it seems like you can’t sneeze without hitting a construction wall in Disney World.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Multiple rides are under refurbishment, like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. On top of that, entire lands (or sections of them) are closed in Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. Walls EVERYWHERE! But Disney World has been employing a sneaky tactic to stop us from noticing those pesky walls.
Disneyland Resort was closed for 412 days throughout 2020 and 2021 due to the global pandemic, and it finally reopened in April 2021. While some things have returned to a new level of “normal,” the Disneyland president recently stated that the park is about halfway through the extended phased reopening process.

Recently, we’ve been able to enjoy the 2022 Food & Wine Festival in Disney California Adventure, and even the famous chocolate-covered fudge Easter eggs are back! Now a special music program is returning to Disneyland this summer, and here’s when you can catch some tunes again on Main Street, U.S.A.!
