The ride is getting new blasters, new ride scenes, a new character, and more. We got the chance to check out the ride before it officially opens as part of a preview, and while we LOVE the new changes, we did spot something that we think might be a problem going forward — and it all has to do with the new blasters.
We’re getting closer to the official opening of the NEW version of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom — we’ve only got until April 8th to go!

Cast Member previews are currently happening, so while people have been on the ride, pictures and videos of the inside have been officially cleared to share online. Guests alike have been seeing all the details inside and seeing if the ride being closed for months has been worth it. Much to our surprise, we think we might have found something that most Disney fans agree with.
This past week in Disney World, one of our FAVORITE spots opened back up after being closed for SIX years — there was a time when we didn’t even know if we’d ever be able to dine there again, and now, we can!
It’s finally back open!
This past week, on March 19th, the Garden View Lounge in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has finally opened back up its doors for guests to experience its beloved tea experience. Reservations for opening day, as well as the weeks following, booked up fast, but keep checking back for reservations! However, in true Disney fashion, that wasn’t the ONLY upcoming change announced last week.

Disney World wait times have a reputation for being, well, unpredictable. Sure, we can look at past data to get an estimate of the crowd levels in Disney World, but you never know what may happen from year to year. This week, the Guardians of the Galaxy held on to the top spot, topping 90 MINUTES!

Now, we all know the ride has been closed since August,2025, and during its closure, it got a TON of new updates, including new ride vehicles, new scenes, new interactive targets, new blasters, and MORE. Well, we’ve had a chance to ride it a few times, and as we rode it, we began noticing that there were some things hidden in the ride that we might have easily missed. So we’re sharing all these Easter eggs with you so you can keep an eye out for them.
A popular Magic Kingdom ride has been closed since the end of last summer, and we’re eager to ride it again!

Magic Kingdom is BUSY right now, y’all. Not only is Disney busy building a Cars expansion in Frontierland and a new Villains land behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (which is getting a big update), but Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland has also been getting a MASSIVE upgrade.

Disney recently revealed that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin would reopen on April 8th, but ahead of that, there will be early previews of the newly updated ride. Well, Disney has confirmed the first round of previews will begin VERY SOON for Cast Members.
2026 is rolling along, and I can’t believe we’re already almost in April. For us Disney World fans, that’s pretty awesome because there’s a LOT coming to Disney World in April and beyond.
