White Water Snacks in Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
was recently renovated (see our tour of the refreshed space here!), and we’ve already found some great treats in the quick service spot’s pastry case — including a sweet little Mickey Ears Cupcake for Get Your Ears On! And right now there’s a St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake that’s definitely got the luck of the Irish!
So many things going on here, and they’re all festive and fun! [Read more…]
Princess-inspired cupcakes are always a treat, and a while back we told you about two colorful, royally creative options at Art of Animation and All Star Music! Click here for our sneak peek at cupcakes that celebrate Ariel and Aurora! And click here for our full review of the Sleeping Beauty Cupcake!
And now Intermission Food Court at All Star Music is back at it with a BRAND NEW princess cupcake inspired by The Lost Princess herself: Rapunzel! [Read more…]
Cafe Rix at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort
is the hotel’s quick service and grab-and-go dining location. The pastry case here is usually a little above-par for a hotel food court, but this latest cupcake… takes the cake. And the dropper. And the buttercream. It just takes it all.
Our Insta-pal @mrs.everydaymommy shared the Mocha Cupcake (at least…that’s what we’re calling it — there wasn’t a sign ;-D) with us, and we’re jazzed that she did. [Read more…]

Raise your hand if you’re guilty of stalking the Contempo Cafe pastry case for new cupcakes! Recently, we’ve loved the Churro Cupcake and the Millenial Pink Cupcake.
In fact, it has been a few months since we went to Contempo Cafe for something other than a cupcake! But when I stopped by today (yes, for a cupcake) I noticed something new to me on the menu: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. Well, twist my arm – I just had to order it.
But, don’t worry… I found a fun cupcake too. 😉 Read on to find out more!
The Grilled Cheese is made with three cheeses – Fontina, Monterrey Jack, and Boursin Garlic & Fine Herb – and is on Sourdough Bread. It is served with Tomato Bisque and your choice of fries, homemade chips, or veggie slaw. I opted for the homemade chips.
OK, this is AWESOME! Thanks to my instagram buddy @elbellfromarendelle for tagging us in this great news!
There’s a 2319 Emergency Cupcake at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom today to celebrate 2-3-19! No idea what a 2319 Emergency is? (It’s OK — some of us had to google it, too!) In my favorite Disney movie, Monster’s Inc., you’ll remember the 2319 Emergency when an unfortunate monster was contaminated with a child’s white sock — a dreaded outcome for any scarer!!
Well the Magic Kingdom pastry chefs (Jenna Rose Petri, specifically) came up with an incredible idea to celebrate this one-time-only day!

, the quick service dining spot at Walt Disney World’s Wilderness Lodge, is known for showing cupcakes some love. Remember the totally awesome Campfire Cupcake?
And we were excited to break the news that the loaded waffles were back at this quick-service staple recently, too!
Well, the pastry wizards at Roaring Fork are at it again, this time bringing the flavor with the Chocolate Peppermint cupcake of the month.
It should come as no surprise to you that the DFB team loves photography. We take thousands of photos every year, and we honestly relish every one. So generating a list of the DFB’s Most Wow-Worthy Pictures This Year was an impossible task. But we buckled down and found a few we wanted to share with you once more!
We had a blast celebrating Mickey’s 90th birthday in November
, and you know that all those specialty eats had us pretty excited. But when we saw the size of the Giant Mickey Birthday Krispy we knew it needed lots of photographic love. We like how this picture captures the breadth of this huge krispy treat — not an easy feat in a World of oversized, fantastical things!
Plus there’s lovely sunlight bouncing off that smooth chocolate. Love!
in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs and Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney knows a thing or two about celebrating holidays with its cupcakes, cookies, drinks, and more.
Earlier this year, Sprinkles announced its new line of holiday packaging, which is a lovely mix of snowflake designs and metallic gold!
It seems everywhere we turn in Disneyland there are new festive treats for us to try — and we are not complaining! You can check this post to see EVERYTHING we’ve tried so far!
Next up on our tour are the holiday sweets at French Market Restaurant, located in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park.
French Market is close to Haunted Mansion, which is currently decked out as “Haunted Mansion Holiday” and completely overlaid with Nightmare Before Christmas decorations. Because of this, they tend to keep their holiday treats on theme, featuring Jack Skellington and other fan favorites.
