Spectrum Cable TV subscribers have been faced with a “stressful” issue: several channels are currently unavailable as Spectrum’s parent company, Charter, battles with Disney over a contract dispute.

Although Disney has made references to potential changes coming to its linear TV networks and ESPN someday, this ongoing dispute has been impacting a large portion of subscribers during an important time of year for sports fans.
Aaaaaattention, Foolish Mortals!
Haunted Mansion
Wow, I really missed saying that. And calling everyone I encounter a “foolish mortal.” You see, before I was part of the amazing team here at DFB, I was a resident of the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. Yep, I was one of the resident maids that haunted the halls — decked out in the dreadful green and black-striped costume, a bat perched atop my head. (Before anyone asks, my bat’s name was Beverly — named after the vile, bitter, and disgusting Italian Coke product that you can find in EPCOT’s Club Cool. You weren’t going to ask? Well, maybe I just miss telling everyone that bit of information, too.) Being a Mansion Maid was one of the BEST jobs I’ve ever had, but it was also the hardest job I’ve ever had. As a Cast Member, I dealt with scenarios I never thought I’d encounter — ones that might have been avoided if the Mansion visitors just… understood me and my fellow maids and butlers a little better, you know?
It’s never too early to start planning a Disney World vacation. In fact, we’ve even warned our readers to AVOID visiting the Disney parks all the way in 2028. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Instead, let’s look at 2024. There are some BIG things happening in Disney World next year (like the return of the famous Disney Dining Plan, the removal of the park pass reservation rule, and much more). But now that revenge travel seems to be over, are tons of people still going to Disney World?
