Magic Kingdom has some BIG changes in store for it in the coming years!
Magic Kingdom will be getting a new nighttime parade called “Disney Starlight” in 2025, and Disney has also announced that a Villains Land AND a Cars Land will be coming to Magic Kingdom. Disney fans have been very divided over the new Cars Land, especially the proposed location. But what will the impact of this Frontierland change really be?
We’ve got some FUN Disney World hotel news to share today! Have you heard? Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been under construction for quite some time, and this hotel is getting a BIG addition. Later this year, the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows will open, and Disney just gave us a sneak peek of what’s coming to this resort!

This new section of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is set to open on December 17th, 2024! It will be a Disney Vacation Club property, but anyone is invited to book a reservation here! The 10-story tower will feature rooms of different sizes for parties of all shapes and sizes. Just like The Polynesian Village Resort itself, this new tower will take inspiration from the Polynesian Islands. You may even spot some new artwork inspired by Moana!
Disney fans were stunned back in 2022 when the CEO of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Chapek, stepped down, only to be replaced by Bob Iger, who held the position before Chapek. Ever since Iger’s return, there’s been speculation about who will replace Iger when he (re)retires in 2026.
