We all know exactly where to find Cinderella Castle in Disney World. Everyone knows about the good old “it’s a small world” attraction, too. But there are TONS of lesser-known things hiding in Disney World. Do you know about them?

We all know exactly where to find Cinderella Castle in Disney World. Everyone knows about the good old “it’s a small world” attraction, too. But there are TONS of lesser-known things hiding in Disney World. Do you know about them?

Magic Kingdom
Disney World Halloween Party tickets are on sale, Halloween-inspired decorations are arriving in stores, and we’re already planning out this year’s Halloween costume!

Happy Halloween (in June!)
Now, it seems like even the Disney World parks are getting in on the holiday spirit! Recently, we found some Halloween merchandise hiding in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and you KNOW we have to show it off.
You won’t believe what we discovered in Disney Springs recently. As you may know, Disney Springs has been going through quite a few big changes lately. We’ve seen new shopping spots appear, old stores disappear, and even a shop relocation or two!

World of Disney in Disney Springs
On a recent trip to Disney Springs, we were SHOCKED to find another store was closed during our visit. Let’s take a look.
Yeah yeah yeah, Disney is a magical place with happy characters and exciting attractions. Yawn. Today, we’re not talking about the flashy stuff, like new Minnie ears or a special cocktail. Instead, we’re talking about something else. Something you probably won’t see in the heartwarming Disney World commercials or the official Disney World social media accounts. Let’s talk about bathrooms.

Can you believe that this is just a BATHROOM?!
Believe it or not, bathrooms are kind of a hot topic among Disney fans. If you’ve ever participated in the discourse around the Tangled bathrooms in Fantasyland (justice for Rapunzel — she deserves MORE!) or found yourself comparing restrooms from one park to another, you get it. Now, let’s talk toilets (or lack thereof).
If you’ve ever experienced the anxiety-inducing process of trying to purchase a highly-anticipated Disney ticket, you know that the process is often, well, a hot mess. In the past, we’ve seen Disney’s website crash, experienced random pauses while waiting in the virtual queue, and watched tickets sell out in the blink of an eye. It’s a high-stress situation, people!

Mickey at Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash
Most recently, tickets for Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash went on sale, and we had a feeling that the process was going to be a little tricky, to say the least. Let’s talk about our experience on June 29th.
Country bears, thundering trains, and a huge log flume. That’s Frontierland for ya! If you’re fixin’ to feel like you’re walking through the wild west or want to pay a visit to some playful bears, this is the place to be. Lately, this section of the Magic Kingdom has been getting a lot of attention thanks to Disney’s big announcement that a NEW attraction is coming soon to the area formerly known as Splash Mountain.

Country Bears in Frontierland
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is the newest Disney World attraction coming to Frontierland, and we can’t wait to learn more about the new ride. So far, we’ve been keeping our eyes out for construction updates, sharing all the new Imagineering details, and learning about the backstory for the attraction. Now that construction is underway, it’s safe to say that Splash Mountain is completely GONE — let us show you!
Oh, Genie+. One moment we’re watching the price skyrocket; the next, we’re celebrating a lower cost for Disney’s service to skip the standby lines. We get it. There have been a lot of changes to Genie+ since it was first introduced. Some changes are surprisingly good, while others are…not so great.

Genie+
One of the latest changes to hit Disney’s Genie+ service is a new multi-park option for guests hoping to use Genie+ in multiple parks on the same day. In the past, the price to use Genie+ was the same for all four parks, but now the cost of Genie+ may vary from park to park, or guests can buy the new multi-park option to use Genie+ in multiple parks. The change went live on June 27th, but now let’s check to see how things are looking after the big debut.
Let’s be honest; there are a LOT of highly-anticipated events coming to the Disney parks this year. We’ve got the NEW Jollywood Nights holiday party coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning this fall, and Oogie Boogie Bash is returning to Disneyland Resort. Between all these exclusive events, we can’t wait to check out alllllll the entertainment, food (duh!), characters, and more.

Who’s ready for Halloween?
Speaking of exclusive holiday events, we’ve got an important update on Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash. If you’re planning a visit to California this fall, you might want to listen up.
Friendly reminder, it’s almost time to grab your tickets for TWO holiday events at Disney World!

Jollywood Nights
In addition to the annual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom, Disney Jollywood Nights are coming this holiday season to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the first time ever, and we’re reminding you that if you fall into this category you’ll be able to purchase your tickets SOON! They double as a family-friendly activity and home decor once you’ve put them together. Who doesn’t love LEGOs?
We really enjoy seeing each of the new Disney-themed LEGO sets that are released. We find them in the parks occasionally, and even online on shopDisney. If you’re searching for a new LEGO set to construct on the next rainy day, you’re in luck!
