The Tropical Hideaway is coming soon to Adventureland in Disneyland Park!
What’s The Tropical Hideaway, you may ask? The former Aladdin’s Oasis is being transformed into a new dining experience where guests will be able to “rub elbows” with skippers in the midst of a traders’ market which will feature the “flavors of the tropics”! The lone piece of concept art revealed in February gives us an idea of the upcoming spot displaying tables, canopies, and thatched roofs along the shores of the river.
remains in full effect at Disneyland Resort — and the party continues through September 3! So there’s plenty of time to get in on all the Pixar Food action!
is a the funnest food game in town at Disneyland Resort, and with everything from Funnel Cake Fries to Fried Bologna Sandwiches, there’s something for everyone. The Vanilla-Glazed Wilderness Donut sold at the cappuccino cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle is one such treat that is likely to be enjoyed far and wide.
It’s Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort, and with the amount of fabulous themed eats in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, it’s our job to sample them all. Today we’re bringing you two Pixar Fest cake pops! Seriously — there are so many cake pops, and they’re located all over the parks!
We’re not saying Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort should be called Churro Fest — but with the sheer number of these cinnamon sugared fried dough sticks bouncing around like a Luxo Ball, it certainly could be. 😉
Today we’re heading to Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland where the churro cart across from Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is serving up Lemon Churros. But there’s more to this sweet treat than some lemon sugar.

The newly reopened Blue Sky Cellar in Disney California Adventure is giving us glimpses into the future of Pixar Pier.
The Cellar features concept art, sketches, models, and even videos of the upcoming land, which opens on June 23rd, and includes some new concept art of Lamplight Lounge! As Heather Sievers (@diningindisney) was busy noshing on all the eats at Pixar Fest, she stopped by Blue Sky Cellar and shared photos of the concept art with us.
This new lounge will replace the Cove Bar. The story behind the space is that it’s renovated from an old warehouse factory, with the wooden floor made from refinished wood boards from the factory (you’ll spot them on the ceiling, too).
Greetings from New Orleans Square in Disneyland, where we’re celebrating Pixar Fest at Cafe Orleans!
So far, we’ve shown you all sorts of snack and Counter Service goodies themed to the Pixar celebration which spans both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. But today, we’re bringing you to this beloved Table Service restaurant currently serving — among their already-famous dishes — a 3-course Prix Fixe menu created specifically for the Fest.
