EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is here, and there’s so much to explore.
What’s going on in the Morocco Pavilion?
There are over 35 food booths to visit, hundreds of special food and drink offerings only available through the end of the festival (November 22nd), not to mention the Eat to the Beat concert series you can jam to throughout the festival. However, there’s a SECRET lounge that’s returning this year that will be ESSENTIAL for keeping yourself cool and hydrated throughout your park day.
Can you believe we’re pretty much halfway through 2025 already?! Time has been flying, and some BIG things are happening at Disney World in July!

This year has been rough with goodbyes, as we’ve started to say “farewell” to DinoLand, U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and now Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. HOWEVER, it’s almost time to say “hello” to some new and returning offerings, such as the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

2024 Food and Wine Festival
This year’s Food & Wine Festival is PACKED with tasty goodies, cute souvenirs, and tons of fun. It also has some hidden gems and we’re ready to spill the beans!
This year has flown by and we’re already well past the halfway mark of 2024. We’ve already attended TWO major EPCOT festivals, and now it’s time to turn our attention toward a third!
Spaceship Earth
EPCOT is home to several events and four big-time festivals each year, and the next scheduled festival happens to be the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! Taking place from August 29th through November 23rd, 2024, this fan-favorite festival usually offers some amazing booths and entertainment, and we can’t wait to experience it all! With that said, we have noticed that this year’s festival will look a lot different than the Food & Wine festivals of the past.
EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival officially starts on July 14th, 2022, and we’ve got ALL the details you need to know.
EPCOT Festival Passports
We’ve already shared the FULL menus for all of the booths, given you a peek at the Festival merchandise you can get online right now, and even given you the information you need to create a realistic budget for the Festival. But now we’ve got MORE details — food booths with PRICES have started to appear for the Food & Wine festivities!
To end EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival, runDisney will be holding its annual Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend! This year’s event is Disney villains-themed and features a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and a Two Course Challenge.

2019 Food and Wine Festival
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is now OPEN and the 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival has begun!

Today and yesterday, we have been following a developing story across Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The topic? Price hikes to Disney food and beverage items around both properties.
These price changes, as it turns out, have also affected some food and beverage items at the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Food Booths….in the middle of the festival. (???)
2017 Epcot Food and Wine
For example, Refreshment Port‘s food and beverage offerings now show pricing up to $1.00 more than it was at the beginning of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival on nearly every single item.
Great news! We reported last week that the Epcot Family Play Zone had been shut down and dismantled. But, since it was still on the Times Guide, we promised we’d be watching to see if they reconstructed the kids’ play area later in the festival.
Sure enough, it’s back! Though some of the equipment has been changed out, and the sign is different with this incarnation.

We’re not sure why the temporary closure happened or why changes were made, but it’s great to have the play area back for families at the festival!
