Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!

And, we’ve got plenty of construction, merchandise, and food updates to share with you! So, let’s dive right on in!
There’s just something about the Germany Pavilion that makes us want to chill out with a Jumbo Pretzel and a pint of beer.

But, during our most recent visit to EPCOT today, we popped over to the shops to take a peek at some of the Christmas items. And, we may have found all the holiday decorations we’ll need for our homes this year with a new line of ornaments in the Germany Pavilion!
Happy festival day, everybody! It’s already been quite the day as we’ve been making our way around EPCOT to see everything happening at this year’s Festival of the Holidays!
Caramel Tinsel Donut and Latte
Although we’re still slightly stuffed from Thanksgiving yesterday, we’re here to try Twix Coffee and Donuts, Christmas Cookie Cupcakes, Iced Toddies, and MORE in the park today. And, the snack crawl doesn’t stop there, because now we’re over in the France Pavilion for the return of a holiday dessert!
We’ve got our stretchy pants ready and our Santa Hats on because we’re at the grand opening of the 2020 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays!
Holiday Hearth
We just got a taste of the new Twix coffee and doughnuts from Joffrey’s Coffee and got a look at the EPIC gingerbread display at the Canada Pavilion. BUT, there’s a TON of brand new goodies joining the group with the debut of the Holiday Hearth this year!
We can’t help but feel even more ready for the holidays each time we’re in Disney World! Since the parks have practically become a Winter Wonderland, we’ve been keeping our eyes out for new holiday goodies each time we visit.
Living with the Land
Living with the Land has recently been decked out in wreaths, bows, and other decorations for Christmas. But, now you can find a few extra surprises when you hop on the ride in EPCOT!
EPCOT has been busy all weekend long with guests heading to the parks for Christmas entertainment (and probably to melt over the two new Karamell-Küche cookies and returning Frozen 2 Sipper).

Although the park is a HOT spot for construction right now, we’re narrowing our focus over to the Italy Pavilion! After construction walls popped up in the area, we’ve seen permits filed by the Pantina Restaurant Group for the “La Gelateria” Gelato Cart. Last year, we got a hint of what was to come with the announcement that the cart would have 12 different varieties of gelato and sorbet, including gluten-friendly and plant-based flavors.
It might be a very busy day in EPCOT, but it’s still a good one as we’ve been waving to our favorite characters and snacking on TWO new cookies at the Germany Pavilion!

But, we’ve also spotted a returning item that has flurried into the park, just in time for the holidays!
It’s a busy weekend in Disney World as more crowds head back to the parks and the capacity is increased to 35%!
EPCOT
Since the holiday season has officially kicked off, we’re all excited to see new entertainment, treats, and merchandise sweeping their way across Disney World. While EPCOT will be getting some Christmas magic with the return of the Festival of the Holidays at the end of the month, there was an unexpectedly big line in the World Showcase today.
PHEW! It’s been a full day in the parks as the holiday season kicks off all around Disney World’s property!

Even though the parks have transformed into a Winter Wonderland for Christmas, the parks are still looking ahead to next year as guests plan to visit for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
It’s not a trip to EPCOT until you’ve got a glass of something bubbly to go with a midday snack (especially if you’re visiting Les Halles in the France Pavilion).

Although the Food and Wine Festival will be coming to a close in the park on November 22nd, there’s still plenty of time to try new sips or indulge in a sweet treat. And, you can even commemorate your time in EPCOT with a returning pair of ears that have popped into stores again!
