Hey Marvel fans, Deadpool’s story isn’t done quite yet!

It was recently announced by Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, that another Deadpool movie will be coming to the big screen…at some point. With two big Marvel movies coming out this year, and another massive one on the way next year, we know there is a lot up in the air for the plans of Marvel Studios.
While Disney often makes massive announcements at its Destination D23 and D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event events each year (both trade off, happening bi-yearly), that’s not the only event where big news is announced.

This past weekend was New York Comic-Con, and wow, did Marvel announce some exciting news tidbits you don’t want to miss out on! In case you weren’t in attendance or just want everything in one place, here are the biggest announcements!

Marvel’s latest film was Thunderbolts, which will soon be available to stream from home, and their next one is Fantastic Four, which will release in theaters soon. We previously knew that Marvel announced that three films were on the company’s 2028 docket, but now it appears a FOURTH film has been added.

Disney recently announced lots of exciting news in the media world — they’re partnering up with Epic Games to bring the ultimate gaming universe to life, and we just got a new trailer for Inside Out 2 (ADD LINK). And now, we finally have a trailer for ANOTHER film we’ve been waiting forever for!
Disney has a LOT of plans for movies over the next few years, although some releases ended up getting delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

But we have a LOT to look forward to in 2024, including Inside Out 2, and Mufasa: The Lion King. However, one of the most anticipated Disney movies of the year is a Marvel film, Deadpool 3. Well, that movie was also delayed due to the strikes, but it WILL come out this year and we now have confirmation that the production has finished filming.
Actor Jonathan Majors has been fired by Disney and Marvel Studios after being found guilty of assault.

Actor Jeremy Renner shared his first update this morning after being involved in a snow plow accident over the weekend.

He posted a photo of himself from his hospital bed on his Instagram page thanking friends and fans alike for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Renner has been recovering in the Intensive Care Unit after multiple surgeries. His family reported he was in “critical but stable” condition, but now that the Hawkeye actor has shared an update himself, the well wishes are continuing — and from some very heroic celebrities.
