The NBA Season Restart officially kicked off at the end of July and we’ve had a blast keeping an eye on what players are up to in the NBA Bubble. Now, we’ve got a peek at the AWESOME kicks one of the players has been sporting — and they’re inspired by one of our favorite Disney movies!

From mysterious blue walls to a Goodyear Blimp and NBA barbershop at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, there have been some unusual sightings at Disney World leading up to the NBA’s restart.

And now that the first official round of seeding games is happening today at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, we’ve just spotted some of the NBA Experience Store’s previously exclusive merch in some new places!

As you’ve probably heard (it’s big news!) the NBA is set to resume their season in Walt Disney World after creating a bubble of players, staff, and reporters. Now, with the bubble keeping positive tests low, the NBA 2019/2020 Season will resume TONIGHT in Walt Disney World!

We’ve been keeping watch on the big blue wall at Disney’s Grand Floridian. The NBA set up camp behind the blue barrier to isolate players from the public. While isolated, the players got some pretty cool amenities like loads of video games and private pedicurists. We visited the wall a few times to try and catch a glimpse of the other side. The NBA will be starting its season on July 30th at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Players and officials will be staying on property at different Disney Resorts in areas that are isolated from regular guests (but with swoon-worthy amenities). Training courts have already started to be set up inside the hotels, along with fencing down the middle of places like Disney’s Floridian Resort to separate the NBA from resort guests!
Now that the NBA will be finishing its 2019-2020 season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, people are getting VERY excited about the 22 teams that will be arriving at Disney World in mere weeks!
