We’re back again this week to share updates about the MANY projects going on at Disney World right now.

This was an exciting week as we saw some construction milestones take place for a handful of projects!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Area in the France Pavilion
Fingers crossed this becomes a thing, because we found a hidden detail in the Ratatouille area in EPCOT, and it’s the cutest little surprise ever!
Throughout 2020 and even some of 2021, a lot of Disney news was about park closures, and updates on restaurants and resorts that have remained closed or have delayed their re-openings.
France Pavilion Expansion
But, this week, the Disney news was a bit different. Instead of looking at the past or things that are closed, we got TONS of sneak peeks and info about things that will be OPENING in the future. Want to see the rooms at the Star Wars hotel? How about a look at Tom Holland’s role in the upcoming Avengers Campus? Or a walk inside the new Ratatouille area? We’ve got all that and more!
Last year, Disney confirmed that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Creperie de Paris will be opening in 2021 at EPCOT’s France pavilion.

We’ve already seen the area that will house the ride and restaurant move along with its construction, we’ve gotten a peek at the inside of the attraction, and more. Today, it looks like we’re one step CLOSER to visiting this new area, as construction walls near Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure have come down!
2020 has been the year of 1 million Minnie ears, and it seems like 2021 is going to continue that trend!

Just recently, we’ve seen Cornflower Blue, Champagne, 2021, and fireworks-themed Minnie ears, not to mention the dozens of other pairs we’ve shopped in the Disney parks and online throughout the rest of this year. Now, we have a sneak peek at one of the new pairs coming next year, and they’re made to match a new attraction!

We’re back for another weekly Disney merch report, and tons of great stuff landed online this week! We saw lots of new 2021 merchandise appear in the parks and online, and you know it wouldn’t be a truly productive week without some new Minnie ears and more Star Wars merch. We’ve got SO MUCH to share, so let’s check this week’s list!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Sign Lit Up
With Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure coming to EPCOT in the near future and the musical version of the movie gaining traction on TikTok, a lot of people are talking about this film! Since people are talking about it, Disney’s been releasing tons of well-timed merchandise. Today we found another item online, and we’re seriously tempted to “add to cart”!
Maybe it’s because 2020 is the Year of the Rat or maybe it’s because the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction opens next year at Disney World, but the world has become obsessed with Ratatouille recently!

It all started with a few videos on TikTok about a Ratatouille musical. Then there were more videos. Then Disney Parks posted its own video with Zombies actor Milo Manheim rapping about Remy and his adventures.
We’re CERTAINLY looking forward to the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT.
Remy’s Ratatouille Construction
Due to delays from the global health crisis, the new attraction is now on track to open in 2021. We’ve been keeping a close eye on construction progress in the France Pavilion expansion from above in the Disney Skyliner, and now, we just got ANOTHER sneak peek thanks to the ABC Holiday Special!
There are lots of projects going on all around Disney World, but especially over at EPCOT as part of that park’s transformation.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
One of those special projects is the expansion of the France pavilion with the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction, La Crêperie de Paris restaurant, and the surrounding area. With the Ratatouille attraction and crêpe shop both set to open in 2021, we’re keeping a close eye on this whole area. Today, as we flew past in the Disney Skyliner, we noticed that a brand new kiosk has been added!
