We spent some time at Magic Kingdom on New Year’s Day checking to see what 2021 updates we could find! Are you ready? Let’s go!
2020 is the year that turned face masks into necessities, and at Disney World, they’ve become as vital as Minnie Ears and Spirit Jerseys! Not only do they keep others — and ourselves — safe, but let’s FACE it: they’ve become a fashion staple too!
Face Masks
With each batch of new masks, Disney continues to delight with fun patterns, colors, and characters, and they’re latest masks do NOT disappoint with options ranging from the Cheshire Cat to Storm Troopers!
One thing that we’ve done a lot of in 2020 is channel our inner Remy by doing a lot of baking AND cooking!

And to assist us with our cooking needs, Disney has released lots of new kitchen gear! We’re checking out a few items that can help you level up your kitchen the Disney way!

Magic Kingdom
This year is a big year for Disney! Today, Park Hopping returns in Walt Disney World and MagicBands are no longer free for resort guests. Sometime this year, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the TRON coaster will be opening to the public. Tons of movies and TV shows will be arriving on Disney+ this year as the company focuses more on streaming. And on top of all that, we’re kicking off the New Year with a special deal on shopDisney!

Haunted Mansion
We’re your ghost hosts, and although we’ve already told you about new Haunted Mansion clothing, a Haunted Mansion pillowcase set, and a Haunted Mansion fan, we just found another AWESOME piece of Haunted Mansion merch that just materialized at Disney World!
Our closets are FULL of Mickey merch and we’re not mad about it.

Disney’s got some pricy merch, it’s true, but sometimes we find some SERIOUSLY lux options. Disney has partnered with COACH again to bring us a line of BEAUTIFUL bags featuring designs inspired by an internationally renowned artist.
Guests who visit Pandora – World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom are swept away by the gorgeous landscaping and architecture of the immersive land.
Pandora Face Masks
The Floating Mountains are a spectacle and the area comes alive with bioluminescent lighting at night. Disney truly went all out to make this place as eye-catching as possible. New face masks were released last month that are inspired by the land, characters, and storyline of Pandora. The masks have now been released on shopDisney!
It doesn’t seem possible, but it’s almost time to say goodbye to 2020! And well…it has been a year!
2021 Ornaments
So bring on 2021 with all kinds of new Disney merch, including ornaments, pins, and ears! The Chinese New Year begins in February — and it will be the Year of the Ox! [Read more…]
