If there is one thing we know about the Walt Disney Company is that they are always finding ways of surprising us year after year. 2019 was no different, as it was a year full of surprising changes for the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

In late March, Disney announced several new policies for guests visiting parks in Walt Disney World and Disneyland. And most of those new policies go into effect today, May 1, 2019.

Included in the new policies is a ban on smoking inside the parks. Park maps have been updated designating the new outside-of-entrance smoking locations accordingly.
