According to The Independent, a visitor to Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle — the gorgeous building that inspired Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle — decided that the perfect place to stash her dog while touring the grounds was… wait for it… inside a locker.
I’ve flown a lot of places. In fact, I travel almost full-time for my job. I’ve been delayed by lightning, snow, and mechanical problems. I’ve made an unscheduled landing in an airport that I did not plan to go to that day. I’ve slept overnight slumped over a suitcase in an airport terminal. I’ve been upgraded to first class, and I’ve been bumped off a flight. So when I tell you I’ve never experienced anything like this airport check-in, I mean it.

Not only do you have to worry about those random summer thunderstorms that can seemingly pop up out of nowhere and drench you in the parks (and close rides), but you also have to worry about how those storms — and other weather — could affect your flight to and from Disney World. Well, today, that’s exactly what happened. According to WFTV, the Federal Aviation Administration called a ground stop at several Florida airports, including Orlando International Airport, due to severe thunderstorms. That means that a lot of flights to and from Orlando will probably experience delays today.
