New travel advisories were issued by the U.S. Department of State that include two Caribbean destinations.
A big change is coming to Southwest Airlines.

We’ll admit we’ve been a little nervous since Southwest Airlines announced it was ending its open seating policy and start offering assigned seats. Southwest is one of our favorite airlines to fly to Disney World after all, and perhaps we feared that this change would mean other things changing, like free checked bags (because all the other airlines charge for those). However, we’ve got a big update about the new seating policy.
International travel just got a whole lot easier for United States citizens!
Passport
If you’ve ever had to deal with the headache of renewing your passport in person, you know just how daunting of a task it can be. You’d have to make an appointment, go get your photo taken, drive all the way to the passport office, and likely still have to wait for a bit. But, all that has now changed! The United States Department of State has been testing a new online passport renewal program — and it’s officially live!

The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially kicked off, and we were there LIVE, eating all the things (like ALL the things), checking out the cheese crawl (who doesn’t love a good cheese crawl), and watching the first Eat to the Beat concert of the festival. It’s been FUN! However, a different kind of fun is coming to Disney World, and that’s a long holiday weekend. However, we want to warn you about something that could potentially affect that fun: crowds!
