Well, it finally happened. We got to go INSIDE Epic Universe and share that experience with you. Yes, our jaws have been dropping non-stop all weekend (and yes, there were some tears of joy, too), and we’re not done yet telling you all about it.

Now that we’ve visited all five lands in Epic Universe, we’re coming in with our takes, and we’ll admit that a lot of things surprised us (those big lockers at Monsters Unchained, for example). But the best news that came out of our visit might surprise you, so let’s get into it.
Let’s just say this weekend has been…EPIC.
We finally got a chance to explore Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Epic Universe. We’ve been running all over Super Nintendo World, as well as How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. We also got to get our first really good look at Dark Universe, including the INCREDIBLE Monsters Unchained ride. Well, there was something about that ride that REALLY impressed us that we haven’t talked about yet: the lockers.
To travel to a new universe, one must first go out of this world.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel
On May 22nd, both Epic Universe and Universal Grand Helios Hotel are set to open! Grand Helios, Stella Nova, and Terra Luna are three of the new resorts built specifically for the Epic Universe expansion. This project is almost complete, as the park is set to open on May 22nd, 2025. So far, two of the three hotels that are part of this expansion have already opened. Sister hotels Stella Nova and Terra Luna are available for stays NOW. The last of these three hotels, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, opens on the same day as Epic Universe, but today we got an exclusive early look at this stunning resort!
